I dont know about that...the only reason I bring it up is because my roommate just bought a 2 year old american strat from his GOOD friend, who has like 10 electrics alone, for $120. And that included a wah pedal. This was last month. If I ever own a squire, I would be using it for target practice with my missle launcher. I wouldn't even pay 80 bucks for a target practice squire.
