Has anyone ever ordered blemished stuff from musicians friend before? Was it that big of a scratch or whatever?

I bought a Fender USA Strat blemished for $650 and never found the blemish. I seriously still don't know what the problem was/is.

I've bought a number of their blemished things. I have yet to notice any difference. A lot of what they sell as blemished has been returned, so its box was once open, lowering the value, the cellophane may have been torn or something. I don't know anyone who has actually found something wrong with theirs.

Sure is. It means everything works, but it's supposed to have some aesthetic flaw.

unless its a blem acoustic. In that case, it can be a problem with the finish. The finish dries too quickly and it causes little tiny bumps that are usully apparent in the back of the guitar. Im sure you've seen it before.

I wouldn't buy an acoustic off the internet. But I feel fine about electrics, especially with the friendly return policy of most online venders.
