i like my martin's pickguard too but i think the body of the larrivee is just a tad too small for that pickguard

I like pickguards, but if you can get your hands on to one with a similar design, but just a little thinner, it would be golden.

I like the clear one better, but since you prefer the pickguard and want a martin look, find a smaller "teardrop" pickguard, like the ones on the martin OM's.

I agree. I think that hole is actually from when Johnny Cash threw a bottle of budweiser at it. Its so cool that he still uses it...
