I just bought Some Devil .... it is so strange to see "Dave Matthews" on the front of the CD without the "Band" part ...

SO far, I think I like it. Baby is a damn good song. The acoustic Gravedigger is so superior to the studio version. Like always.

$18 Bucks at Karma.. I said FUCK THAT and got it on sale at Target for $11.88 plus tax! Fuck Karma! fuck them in their stupid asses..

Anyhow, i listened to the 1st half of the cd on the way home, and I'm impressed...All of the songs are great. The only one I kind of had a problem with was Some Devil... I just wanted to skip it and get to the next one.

It's a good song, but just good.

Hehe ... I got it for free. Right outside of a cd shop on franklin street was a little "outing" of the new Scion division of Toyota, and they were offereing *free* test drives of their rice cars with no power. Plus, if you test drove them, you got a $15 gift certificate to the cd shop. SO, on the bad side, I had to drive this shitty ass tin can and pretend as if I was interested, but on the good side, SOME DEVIL!

Yea, I got it too, its a new sound. Great lyrics for each and every song, but the sound of these songs are so main stream, IMO. Nonetheless, a pretty good CD.

yeah I just bought it today too. it's great. He's singing from his soul on these recordings which makes them so much more powerful. kickass opening riff on Up and Away. Some Devil is pretty sweet too.

I thought Dodo was an awesome song. Kind of an upbeat guitar riffs, with slower lyrics really makes it cool. So Damn Lucky is a great song too. Overall, I think it's a great CD.
Did you guys get a chance to see that dave matthews live on mtv lately? He played 3 of the songs from this CD on it, it was great.
