Broken cover (acoustic)

Post by brian_ok »

This is a pretty rough recording of the Seether song Broken. I'm trying to get back into recording, so I'm starting out by doing a few rough recordings of fairly easy songs, just to get the hang of it again.

I used my Yamaha acoustic->770 mic->PXR4.

Enjoy!

Im about 1 minute in. SING DAMNIT. You're holding back. Guitar was a little choppy but that will come with more practice, in the meantime sing the song, dont talk it. :)

Thanks for listening! Yeah, I'm not much of a singer; I'm trying to get more power behind my voice. As far as the choppy guitar, I don't think it's a practice thing as much as this particular song...It's pretty easy, but the chord shapes are kind of smushed for someone with big fingers, like me.

Thanks again...any more?
