A friend of mine is going to let my borrow his banjo for a month or two, if I can replace the head and the strings. Does anyone know how banjos are tuned and how to set it up.

banjos, from low to high are tuned: DGBD (4 string banjos). Pretty sure 5 strings have that 5th string tuned to G
