dave shows

So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

dave shows

Post by ticohans »

Hey guys, I just wondered if you could pass along some dates of some really good, REALLY WELL RECORDED shows. I've been able to find a few Dave and Tim or solo Dave shows that are great quality, but really haven't happened upon a good whole band recording. I personally can't stand a crappy recording. So if you're picky about the sound and know of a few full band concerts that would be good to download, I'd really appreciate it if you'd share some dates.

(When I say good, I mean REALLY GOOD quality: sound board/cd quality. Very littly if any hum or buzz or crackle, good mix with Dave's voice clear and not overpowered, not too boomy and bassy, not too shrill and tinny, not boxed in. I'm picky :))

8.02.00 (matrix)
12.13.00 (sbd)
5.25.99 (sbd)
7-17-99 (sbd)
6-24-01 (matrix)
7-25-01 (matrix)

the matrices are going to sound more natural because its a mix between a sbd source and a aud source (like the dmb live releases).

tomek, there's a dave solo show from 10/24/02 that's good (there might be a few versions, so i'd check them out before i download one, if there are more than one) and a d&t show from 3/14/99
