#40 teases

since dave did so many #40 teases over the course of his summer tour.. do u think there is any chance of gettin a full one on the winter tour?.. or ever again for that matter? i mean another one like Kogi's or whatever it was that was 4 minutes long??

no it was a tease

and yeah, I think they will eventually play it again. Hopefully this winter tour in Rochester

It was pretty much the whole thing. I was there. It was the most that they've done with the song in years.

I don't know what's up with "teases" that get short shafted by some idiot doing setlists over @ Ants. I've seen many teases that were truly teases. I've also heard whole songs that get labeled as teases for reasons unknown to me.

When I heard Stir It Up, it was labeled as a tease, but full band, full verses, full chorus amount to much more than a tease.

So whats the main reason they dont play it? i heard somewhere that dave says its because he doesnt have the lyrics down yet or something? but i dont know, i've loved every version ive heard of it.. soo whats the deal??

One of the reasons 40 is so special is because it's so rare, the melody is beautiful and even though the lyrics are unfinished/ever-evolving it's part of this song's charm.

i thought they busted it out, like at darien lake he teased a verse, then came out and did it full solo as e1, and then nashville he teased a bit.
