i'm watchin the farm aid (2003?) vid and when he plays this part

it seems like he isnt movin his hand from the Ab position....i mean, his pointer is still on the low E chord and he's holdin that position...so, what the hell is he playin?

He's been playing this song since like 92', you'd think he'd gotten pretty comfertable with it since then. You might just be mis-reading it or maybe the video is off from the audio, i.e. storytellers and most vids of dave playing.
