Dodo is such a good song, one of Dave's best IMO. I think it would have fit well with the whole band, too bad he didn't think of it sooner.

Dave and Trey should do a project together...have Carter do some drumming for songs, maybe Eric Krasno guest. Like a D&F album...but studio.

No...I mean like not as produced. More natural, like their So Damn Lucky with Baobob (sp?) That was one of the purest songs I've ever heard. Imagine if they could capture that for an albums worht of songs in the studio.

Yeah that was pretty cool, that would be great if they could translate that into the studio.

How about a whole album with dave and trey and baobob make a whole album together. With Lanois producing! MmmmHmmm.
Forget about the reasons and the treasons we are seeking
Forget about the notion that our emotions can be swept away, kept at bay
Forget about being guilty, we are innocent instead
For soon we will all find our lives swept away

I was listening to BTCS and after spoon I let the CD keep playing for the Last Stop reprise and Dave sings

"come in from the cold for a while
everthing will be alright
come in from the noise for a time
everything will be alright
everything will be alright
for now goodbye
friend goodbye"

I was thinking as it was on how it was the end of a DMB era and (obviously not at the time) it now seems like Dave is saying "goodbye but everything will be alright"...like a realization that things will be different from now on but there will still be good music, just different.

I dunno if I explained that right, just a thought I had

If they went straight to Everyday after BTCS that would make sense but they made the LWS which to me the equivalent to BTCS so I don't think that was his intention at all.

Yeah I know it wasn't intended, but when I hear it now, it seems fitting

That was amazing. Just watching their emotion in that moment when they played was electric.

hahha that is awesome! sweet cab driver.

By the way, So Damn Lucky is really fun to play! I really get into it once I start singing the chorus like the second time around or so I'm like bobbin my head to the rhythm and moving my body and stuff. It's great.

I just sing with it. Unfortunately, I haven't had the time to teach myself guitar. I will though.
