you can get converters easy. i think i use cdex for that?? im not sure if that does it or not. either way i have a program that converts them to wav's or mp3s.

im still not quite sure on how to download from the servers or from the antsDL program but im sure i'll figure it out.

Is DMBshnheavenII worth a look?

They don't have to be shn... You can get mp3 off direct connect.

I prefer the quality of shn...But I'm not going to get into the whole MP3 VS SHN thing

:roll: exactly, andy. but i'll give a short explanation anyway, and feel free to correct me if i'm wrong. SHN files are compressed Wav files so no quality is lost. mp3's are stereotypically compressed wav files, so it's much more compact, but with mp3's there is a loss in quality, but with SHN's there isn't at all. some people might notice a difference, others might not. i'd just rather be safe than sorry. :)

really? for some reason i thought shn files were huge

uncompress 'em, then you'll see they're a little tamer than WAV's. ;)

Yeah. Wavs can be 2-3x bigger than shn.
