Dave the rapper?

I just got back from the DMB concert at Alltel Pavilion and it was great. Best part was during Jimi Thing when he broke into mubling nonsense with a twist of rap in there...just wondering if he had been doing this lately as I've never heard it before?

Yeah Mansfield 9/9 was awesome too...he did it during Jimi Thing and it sounded so cool...I'm trying to get a copy of that show....good stuff

honestly it sounded like both...i called it scat rapping when i heard it...others may disagree, but it does sound like a mix

The show itself was a good one, but I missed the opener (WWYS) because the traffic getting there was terrible and I only live down the street at NCSU. He did the rap/scat thing twice (dont remeber the other song). They stopped a little early of Raliegh's Sound Ordinence but we brought them back out for an encore of Ants and Stay, but that still left 15 extra minutes before they would have had to stop :( . It was still a good one though.

Oh yeah....the st list and dmband.com doesnt have this in it so I thought I would let you guys know. In between SMTS and Rapunzel they teases us with a little Too Much and went into PNP.

i love when he goes off like that. ive heard some good jimi rap-scats where it is really unreal. ive tired it before and it all ends up as a huge copy of dave. no original syllable strings and all that. its hard.
