has anyone listened to any of the John Mayer Trio's shit on iTunes? The music is good but his singing has reached new levels of shittiness. I only listened to the 30 second preview but it also sounded like his lyrics were still directed to the same pony rides and bubble gum crowd as before.
as opposed to the "try and guess what im singing about" songwriting of DM.
joking. i love em both. dave for the rythm, mayer for the lead. both for the song writing. but i think dave was like carter on stand up and was toned down alot.
