BitTorrent on college LAN

I have decided to get into downloading dave stuff off of bit torrent through thedreamingtree. I downloaded a program called Azureus and it works fine. I got one of the D&T show torrents but it will not download through Azureus, i just get a redlight. Whats going on, is this not going to be possible through my LAN network at the college? From what i know nothing i'm doing is illegal so if you guys can't help me you don't think it would be a problem to ask someone in IT would it? thanks.

Downloading a live dmb show is not illegal. Some schools block BT regardless of its use. That's about all I know. I used it on my school's network last year and had no problems.

i think that my school blocks BT. Does anyone know any way to get around this??
