Wow this is hard. Everyone is so good. Solid recordings guys. Seriously, a 3 point scale wont do justic, maybe 5 or 10 next time?

Kenny Clark:
awesome rhythm. very steady and solid. really good structure. good mixing as well. I enjoy your voice. lol, theres not much to critique

Micah Wetzel:
Soft rock huh. I like it, definitely relaxing. awesome guitaring man. your lead is very good. so many layers. I like it. The melody is not very original tho.

Mitch:
I like your low voice. I can sense your style through this song. More folky but with dave matthews style guitar. It's a little repetitive for me.

Nick:
Your voice needs a little more control and tone. the guitar seems a little sloppy at times, dont know if its the recording quality.

Rob Cranston:
Wow, definitely a radio hit. Very well done all around. I love it man.

Sarah Allen:
yes, fingerpicking, i like it. Your voice seems too weak at the begining. I sense a little too much effects on your voice. Nice tune tho.

oh, a little backstory:

- old song, revamped, new parts added.
- one of my worst works (IMO)
- definitely half-assed and rushed, it's very noticeable
- i had no intentions on using my electric on this one, but i broke my g string on my acoustic yesterday, and had no replacement. so that sucks.

so yeah, i'm not happy with it, but good luck everyone!

Damnit

I had like a paragraph written for each song, then the window closed with like 2 songs left, don't want to write it all again

Ill Just say they all sounded great, some needed a little excitement.

I'll do mine in sections because I'm lazy and there's several songs. (I'll go backwards)

Tran - This song needs some structure man. It was also over the place. Overally, it was extremely muddy. You seem more interested in the alternate tuning/technique than what's actually being played. I mean, the Trace Bundy stuff was cool, but you just...did it. Like, it was just placed in there. You want to make it flow with the rest of the song. It was as if you played part of the song, stopped, and played a little technique-oriented stuff unrelated to the rest of the song. The stuff you played aside from that were kinda hard to listen to, it sounded really messy. (oh - metronome! use it!)

Sorry man, I don't know how else to put it.

Sarah - I've heard this one before. I like it. I think this would sound badass with better equipment.
Some things that will improve the overall quality of the song:
- those harmonics. Keep them, but you strike them too aggressively. (:40-:41)
- harmonies - use them. i think they would be much better than the doubled vocals
- i think a little second guitar addition would add alot.
I really liked that one though, nice job.

Rob - Rooooob dude, that was awesome. Congrats, you have a nice song there. It is so complete. The strings are fantastic. Did you play them? The guitar was spot on, as well as the electric additions. I really liked it. Great stuff, not sure what else to say.
