You do know that music IS based on scales, right? So every song has some scale element in it. You guys would hate playing bass.

I'm not very great at theory, but I know that and I also know thatmost of these songs are simple scaled out riffs, nothing fancy, that's all we were trying to say.

A lot of his riffs are scales, but not as easy as EWU for example. Satellite, Rhyme And Reason, it's mostly scales, but notes placed differently.

If you just put random chords out of scales it has a great chance of not sounding good.
