im gonna say they could play it now like they did then (with the exception of a few highs that dave cant hit anymore and a little lung that leroi doesnt have anymore) if they wanted too, but they dont cuz they already played it like that many many times...mbgreen wrote:I don't see how anyone can say the band is in better form now than they used to be after hearing this show. No no, I'm not talking about the mechanics. I'm talking about the pleasure they take in performing...the energy pouring off the stage. It's still there, but not like this.i am sam2 wrote:im gonna say they could play it now like they did then (with the exception of a few highs that dave cant hit anymore and a little lung that leroi doesnt have anymore) if they wanted too, but they dont cuz they already played it like that many many times...mbgreen wrote:I don't see how anyone can say the band is in better form now than they used to be after hearing this show. i absolutely agree with you. i guess though it would be like that for any band...when you first get big, youre excited and you really love it more than life itself...but when youve been big and are still big and know what its like, its still awesome but youve been there beforembgreen wrote:No no, I'm not talking about the mechanics.
