How big are YOUR hands?

One comment I get a lot is "Jesus, your hands are huge!", but I honestly don't think they're much bigger than the average joe's.

I want to do a little experiment to see how big everyone else's are.

Centimeters would be best, probably.

Measure from the knuckle to the tip of the finger.

Thumb: a tiiiiny bit more than 5 1/2
Index: 8
Middle: 9
Ring: a little less than 9
Pinky: a little more than 7
Tip of thumb to tip of pinky (streched as far as possible): 18 1/2

haha, i thought you were talking about inches at first...i thought i had big hands, haha.

thumb = about 8 cm
index = almost 11
middle = about 12
ring = about 11.5
pinky = about 9

i have large hands

I don't have any way of measuring handy but I know that when I watch your vids I definately notice that it looks like you have really long fingers.

Hey man, I don't have a good way of measuring either, but I thought I'd let you know that I came across your site and love solitude and me and my friends have been jamming to it all week. I can play it pretty decent, but not nearly like you have it, but I'll get there. Anyway keep up the good work, your other song was great too. later.

Thumb - 6 cm

Index - 7.8 cm

Middle - 8.6 cm

Ring - 8.1 cm

Pinky - 6.5 cm

Tip of thumb to tip of pinky (stretched) - 20 cm

Pat, you definately have a lot LONGER fingers than the average hand. We really cant compare these measurements because we are all probably not measuring from the same exact spots. I think what makes your fingers look so long is your damn pinky, its almost as long as my index.
