your voice was kinda wavering in terms of pitch... if you want i can tell you a trick for staying on the melody

pick out the melody and record a track of it with your guitar. having the melody playing along while you sing it helps you hear if you are off or not

Umm yeah, i dont know the song but the new style of singing was a bit blehh.. didnt really seem to suit your voice, wasn't really you.
i'd rate 'hope for the sun' about 1000000000000 times better.. i would stick with that.. no reason to change it, it sounds good..
