So yeah, I think it's a mistake but Carter goes on like it wasn't, and then corrects it.



He did the right thing. If you make a mistake, don't just stop, keep going.

I could see it being really good live. I was hoping they would do the intro--> american baby when I went this summer, but I just got American Baby.

i think i just heard the funniest crowd noise on a dave bootleg. i was listening to the stone from dave and tim at marian civic auditorium(march 14, 99). right before the stone when tim is just jammin out two or three girls yell something in unison, and right before they start playing some dude just yells "shut the fuck up" i was amused, because everyone has a story about annoying people yelling stupid shit at concerts(my favorite was at hershey last year three guys yelled out freebird when they came out for encore). i hate stupid people at concerts.
hosting the oscars is like winning the heisman trophy. no matter how you do in the ballgame, or whatever, they can't take it away from you. and even if you kill your wife and an ex-waiter, they still have a hard time taking it away from you

hahaha i have the 3.14.99 show. i think the "shut the fuck up" sounds cool, cause he yells it and then d&t go into heavy strumming. Come up to Burghesstown for a show one time. At DMB night 2 and Coldplay this year, the entire crowd shouted, "Here we go Steelers, here wo go!!" during the encore break.
