What do you guys think?

Do you like the idea of us throwing up new emoticons such as the following ones I am posting or no? I haven't talked about this with Brock and these aren't going to be posted yet but I was curious what you all thought. Here are some examples of what I'm talking about. They would be bigger emoticons than the ones we have and def more out there(read: intrusive) so I don't see it fitting with our scheme too well but lemme know what you think. Later

the one with the dead horse is absolutely hillarious.
if you ask me, they're almost too... .....i dunno. They seem too high of quality, i like the ones that look more like the OG AOL ones.

I gots tons of good ones that are REALLY small files. I should have them back in a week, sending my tower out to get fixed tonight.

Yeah...that's what I was thinking also kinda. I just really like the one of the smilies on the ground laughing becuase there are plenty of times that one would just work so well. And the 2 smilies toasting each other...seems appropriate a lot here.

But they def are a little much which is why I was posting this. I too like the small ones we have but they don't convey as much. We have no plans to add them yet(or anytime soon) but I wanted to get all your opinions.

EDIT: And they all move so our posts would give someone epilepsy knowing how much they would be used

EDIT 2: There's no doubt this one would work sometimes for us

i like that brick wall one, and the running away one isn't too bad - overall not bad, but i think a few of em are a bit over the top

i voted no. i like them but i know that they would get WAY overused and it would just become annoying. but if you did put them on the board...i would definetly be one of the people overusing them. checki's right, that horse one is awesome.

I think they suck. They're too much. They drip cheese, and they'd make the site look like a big popup add trying to get your attention.

some of them i dont see a point...maybe thats cuz they are just over my head...but like, the one with two of them drinking? what is that supposed to convey? most all the ones we have now are like happy or laughing or mad or thumbs up or wink/sarcastic...those help convey what one is trying to say....so for beating the dead horse, i think its good, so when 90% of us bitch about Stand Up tic tacs can post the beating the dead horse one...but the drinking one? i dont see what it means...i do however understand the last one with his eyes popping out, its like wow...

so i think the ones that mean something should be used, but the ones that dont mean anything other than "two guys drinking" shouldnt be used

I like it when forums don't have a billion emoticons. It gets really annoying. I like forums (like how dmbtabs is right now) where all the icons match too. Maybe a few more could be added, but pretty much all the needed emoticons are already covered.

I do think these would be a good add though..
