Thats awesome, thanks for uploading the song for people to hear. The timing is incredible, i just cant get over it. Anyway, we probably will never hear it again so enjoy it as one of Daves "first and lasts".

This is a direct quote from AntsMarching.org, but it clears things up totally for me:

Kind Intentions
Who is the very troubled girl in an abusive relationship? All indications, including why it was never performed live, allude to Dave’s Sister Anne. Dave had just returned from South Africa, where he surely saw her. Ironically, Anne perished about a year from this songs debut date.

so thats why he doesnt play it. its too eerie i bet for him to even look at the lyrics now. An omen of what was to come. Damn, thats deep

KI was part of the UTTAD Sessions.
It was known as #32 before the band named it (seriously).
He's teased it twice in the past 5 years. No words, just chords.

Good song, but it can't touch Dreaming Tree.

If they busted it out at a show...yawn.

Oh, and Halloween has very deep meaning to Dave as well, yet they still jam it out every now and then.

I think they shelved it because it's just too slow and boring.
joe.

ForgottenThings wrote:(regarding yelling requests) maybe if i was a drunk frat guy screaming "Play CRASH!!" or "WHAT WOULD YOU SAY!!!" but if he played a song he wrote that there are only 2 known copies of, my friend you would be a part of history. The pros outweigh the cons in this one
no you wouldnt and no they dont

you would just be like every other annoying person at the show who yells after dave usually explains at the beginning of the shows d&t are a nice quiet laid back show. and as checkii eluded to, d&t arent two dudes playing at a bar, they write out a setlist and stick to it.
