I need help identifying a song

I have this song called Lower Voice by the band.

It's a really dark and ominous song.

Is that the real title? Anybody have the lyrics?

Any help would be appreciated.

I'm near 100% sure it's at least Dave (I can recognize his voice)...maybe it's him with another band

It started out reeeally cool, but I wanted some blankets to crawl under as it progressed.

IMO = Not DMB, Not Dave.

Maybe. I couldn't imagine Dave using that many effects on his voice though.

Well, it came with an 11-cd length set of mp3's called "Til We Dance Away Compilation..."

It has a bunch of the rare songs and live versions of stuff and a shit load of cover songs.
