Back from My first show...

HOLY CRAP!! That show was amazing. The show on the 9th I mean, I didn't have time to get on the computer after I got home at 2 30 in the morning. But my god. What an awesome time. I am not gonna post the set here, but go and find it, it was incredible. The played 41 with the Everyday outro, right into Everyday. Warehouse was amazing, as was Ants, the opener. They played Granny, which I really didn't think they would, but I was pumped anyways. And then the big attraction. Jimi Thing. Best version of Jimi Thing I've ever heard. Nice long Dave Skat solo, and a few mini guitar solos, then right into TSTJL!! Spoon and Billies to close, man I couldn't ask for more.

I ended up making a few friends too. I offered these two other guys, that when I found the show online, I would burn each of them a copy. They were rather grateful of that, too say the least

. I also talked to this couple in front of me, and we kept making bets on the next song. I also called the set closer, and the encore closer. In all, I can't wait to see them again.

haha, definitely great to hear, man!

glad you had a great first show and that you came home safely.

i still wish i could see #41...but i've only been to two shows, and both of 'em have been great.

I saw #41 a year and a half ago.. too bad I don't remember it!

Wasn't it the best time you've ever had? The concert i went to this summer was amazing. I had a blast. Never gonna forget it.... I reeeaaaallly wanna hear #41 live. I can't imagine anyone coming back from a show and saying, "God that sucked ass...." no matter how many everyday songs! haha.

have any of you heard dave do everyday at the end of 41. he did that at the d&t concert i went to during the outro. sounds awesome. you guys should check it out.
