unfortunatly i will not be submitting a song in this contest anymore. I am returning my DC-16RGTE - Aura for most likely a d35, which i cant afford just yet, and when i can i def wont be able to afford after market UST for a little while after that.

ugh. i went to change the strings on my electric and the nut broke. then i changed the strings on my acoustic and when i had them all tightened down i tried to tune it from the pickup and found out that the souldering came loose...shitty. anyway, both of my guitars are in the shop so i'm going to wait it out and see if i can get them back in time to record my new song for you guys. if not i'll have to submit something i've already done

hey man, i think we're just using yousendit and giving the link to swede. he's going to post the links the day of the competition. if someone wants to host that would be awesome but i think this is going to be a pretty big competition so i'm not sure anyone would want to host 7 or 8 songs. or more. whatever

swede, i'm sending you my link. hope you like it. can i make a sugestion though?

1. something we did in a comp a long time ago that really worked was that instead of having a poll, people voted their 1st 2nd and 3rd favorites and you got 3 pts for 1st, 2 pts for 2nd and 1 pt for 3rd and the points got tallied up as we go.
the huge benifit of this is that there's no poll to worry about and the people that entered the contest don't have to worry about feeling bad about voting jsut so they can see the poll etc etc. also, this gives people oppertunity to put down reasons they liked or disliked instead of just voting on a poll.

2. i think each song's lyrics should be posted under the song link on the first page so everyone can follow along w/ the lyrics. lyrics are going to be part of this competition.

anyway, tellme what you think and i'll send you the lyrics as soon as i get word from you. peace outtie, hope you enjoy the song.
