i was having some trouble finding out what key the song everyday was in so if anyone wants to help me out send it this way

I didn't search, but I am almost certain this is a complete list of DMB song keys.

F? Isn't it that the first note played and therefore the key of the song (although that doesn't always apply).

eh, it can be, but don't ever rely on that. a song can start on any scale tone and be in a key other than that tone.

in my experience, the first note usually tells what the mode is. So if the song is in C and it starts with F, good chance it's going to be in C Lydian

chah, but you wouldn't say it's in the key of F. a song can start on D and still be in C, or whatever. ya'know?
