wow, that's the first time i can remember getting a chill from a dave song ina while. I looooove LIOG when it's not a day and a half long. a good 7 minute LIOG is good enough for me. I feel ambivalent towards liog when it's got a huge jam because they start out with the ringing guitar riff and then after a few minutes it's like "blown awAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY...........ding......"

Basically you mean you like it better when leroi was doing the solo in the middle...and I 100% agree, song is MUCH better than way

No doubt about it. I always thought Leroi was better suited for the big solo. That's why I love the Red Rocks version so much.

best LIOG is still 06/04/05 Burgettstown, summer concert. hands down.

and 7/9 has been heralded as the best LIOG this summer. boyd solo is a few measures longer than usual.
