you don't get that same effect in dave's voice when so right is played live.

I remember when I first heard Angel I was expecting some really beautiful song like The Stone or something, and instead I got "I call you up....you pick up" definitely not one of Dave's better lyrical moments.

same thing...then I was like, what? The only other style I think Dave does really well is whatever you'd call Steady As We Go and Baby...it's more of a classic pop song, but he does that really well imo...when he tries to be all bluesy and whatnot or soulful, it sounds kinda lame to me...
