awesome

no my vote goes toward BOWA, Ants, or two step. but i have to say i think two step cause there is a lot more potential for jam there, and i think that dave's last song will be like 45 min long.

EDIT: but dude, im really going to be upset when it does happen. cause...man, that's just gonna suck.

All this bowa talk...I honestly dont think that'd be anywhere near the encore of a last show. Now, an opener, maybe.

And does anyone else think the band should quit touring? At least for a while anyway? I think a break would do them good after 13 years.

maybe. i'd miss 'em, though. they deserve a break. especially the one's with kids. i'd hate having to try to raise a family while being on the road all the time.

I would have to say watchtower would make a good closer. the band should make the crowd cheer and extra extra long time to have them come out again for the encore, which should have ants or grey street in it.

I meant as the first song of an encore. segue it into ants, perhaps, or tripping billies.

Pig, or The Last Stop. I mean think about:

"All good things must come to end someday..."

and then that little Last Stop outro, it would leave the audience crying.

With Dave being cast for a pretty big role in a pretty big release.. it wouldn't surprise me to see the band take some time off while the movie is being filmed...

Dave clearly has not focused his writing efforts on the band during the past tour.... or else we would be seeing some new stuff.....

which leads me to believe they will take some time off to focus on their own music... and for dave to focus on writing some fresh material, and of course.. acting.

 you didn't know?

yeah...they did. dave played the father of the family. they filmed it a while ago, but the studio didn't have enough money to release it and they just know found another company to release it. i think they've already started showing it at festivals.

i saw a clip of it...pretty funny hearing dave with a southern accent and in overalls, talking about hunting. but he was surprisingly all right. i'd have to see the rest of the film though.
