did anyone heard that version of 41 off the warehouse cd that they sent out a couple years ago. i can't remember if there were any guests on it, but it was 21 min of just awesome stuff. i can't think of many bands othere than dmb and flecktones and probably phish that could take a 3 min song, and stretch it into 21 min w/o making everyone go home.

a lot of jazz bands.

too many to name. the jazz greats used to do it all the time.

not so much jazz as jam bands. bands like phish do it all the time...

i think it was miles davis (i'm probably wrong though) who said that you should never solo through more than four times through, jazz tunes usually aren't that long...
