I did listen. There isn't a video for the song so what I tabbed out is from ear and what you tabbed was exactly what Pat already said it was.

I'm sure Pat either saw it live for a second or he is just listening....either way I'd take him for his word mostly :)

is it just me, or does it sound like there's more than one progression in there?

it sure sounds like the second stanza is different than the first. maybe a step? but i can't figure it out

Yeah the first one I posted is good to play solo. I can't believe it, but this really is what Dave plays during the song. I was shocked he wasn't using his "Dave" chords, they seem like they would give it a better sound.

it's too much moving around for him. besides, its what he plays on the album.

Hopefully that comes out right... I've never messed with the Code feature before. I like to play this for a little more oomph. After I play the single string version for awhile.
