So, this may be sad, but I actually bought these shoes thinking they gave me the "Dave" look. That's funny this question was asked...I've always wondered.

they actually hurt my foot like crazy until they are worn the fuck in and the soles are all pliable, and the sides are fraying.

i have doc martins when it is cold outside and then I have the DMB flip flops that they sell on their website. i've had my doc's for like 2 years they really are awesome. Anyone ever look at the bottom and see that its like acid and gasoline and poison resistant and all that shit?
