rhyme & reason

So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

rhyme & reason

Post by phily23 »

First off I'd like to say thanks for everyone in here.. I come here a lot to look at tabs and videos and they have all helped my guitar play tremendously.

I have the verse part of rhyme & reason down cold, but when he goes to the chorus:

Chorus
E:----------------
B:----------------
G:----------------
D:-5---5---3---5-
A:-x---3---1---x-
E:-3-----------5--

Dave seems to use a different rhythme that I can't pick up over his singing. I have the 99' woodstock video as my reference but can't get it right and it looks like his hand is rubber moving so fast. Anyway, I was wondering if anybody had it down and could maybe post an mp3 of just the chorus.

Thanks,
Phil

Yeah ive just learnt this song too. Its fun to learn.
Im also not happy with the chorus. I think you have to just try and get it down best you can. I dont have an MP3. Maybe someone else will have one?
