ok real question: over in other instruments tic tacs said that somethin was in the key of E#. my question is whats the difference between the key of E# and the key of F...cuz does E# = F?

key of E#? theoretically, yes, but practically... no way. you may hear someone refer to the note E#, but not the key of E#

Not true. They may have the same pitch, but they're not the same, thinking diatonically(I believe that'd be the word)
