I just got kicked out of my music class...

well, I go tonight for my first class of the semester...Harmony...umm, yeah, he said I knew everything and that I could leave. I had a choice to drop or he'd make alternate assignments for me if I wanted to stay...what a way to start of the semester w/ a thud...

in a sense, but I thought I'd actually get something out of the class and I was really excited about it, now it's like, well, there's another night that I'll have nothing to do for the next three and a half months...

was it a basic level harmony class? cuz i plan on skipping the first level when i go in next year... i dont think you missed much if it was

it was more like a theory 1 class I think, I knew everything he threw at me and more...

yeah, the first level classes can be surprisingly basic

yeah, the first level classes can be surprisingly basic

yeah, pretty general run down, scales, how you derive chords from them, etc. etc....bleh...

i wish they would give the AP music theory test at my school so i could bypass that class...
