I know this has probably been asked a thousand times and I did search around but came up with nada,

so whats the make and model of this guitar? is it an electric or an acoustic/electric?

Gibson Chet Atkins SST, its an Acoustic/Electric. There are MANY threads about this. I made one myself in fact a few years ago. Hell, it is even on the main site.

strangely enough, if you wanted to find out what kind of guitar that was, you could have went to the section entitled, 'dave's guitars'. ahhh the sneakiness of dmbtabs.

my new guitar i just got like a week ago is very very similar and i LLLLOOOOVVVVEEEEE it. its an alverez DY88BK.

list price is $1450 but i got it for $750 cuz there is a small defect (a circle thats about an inch across)in the paint on the back of the body but it really isnt that bad it looks like they missed a spot. you can see the wood's natural color. but it feels so nice and i think its a great guitar. if i can get a picture of it i'll put it up. i think the defect adds character to it.

i will get a pic and an audio clip as soon as i can my computer is completely screwed up so today im going to be reformatting my hard drive and reinstall everything. the pic i posted was just from Alvarez's website.

god i feel for you, im editing 2 shows at once now and trying to fill a decent sized order, day after i filmed and was gonna start editing both hard drives crashed.... sucks ass
