I hadn't seen the band live since 2003 at Darien Lake in NY. The energy at this show was great and I got to hear some stuff I had not heard before. The only song I didn't like in this set was Smooth Rider, but everything else was really good. Bartender was incredible and had a looooong outro jam.

On a non-set list related note; The Tweeter Center has the best acoustics/sound setup of any venue I have been to. At most shows I have been to you can't hear the "Dave Speak". But here, it was easily audible and I was back in the uncovered seating section. Also, there isn't a bad seat in the whole house from what I could tell. Unless maybe the seats off tot he side sucked.

In any event, this shows was pretty good. Not on par with the previous nights, but better than some other ones I've been to in years past. And the stuff off the new album is way better live; although surely someone has already mentioned that in this 42 page thread that I have not bothered to read all of.

Quick question...has Dave been playing Louisiana Bayou on the baritone this whole tour? I was not a big fan of the song prior to this evening, but he had the baritone in overdrive tonight and it sounded pretty good.

EDIT: Nevermind, I checked dmbalmanac and yes he has been playing it on the baritone this whole tour.

My mistake. I thought it looked just liked his baritone.

It was his JJ baritone. Must have been tuned differently.

cant be, the scale and neck are too long to allow it. JJ makes a standard neptune single cut. also the jerry jones building is closed, could be a front but who knows? im just thinkin its his modulus.
