I don't know what the game would be, and I'm not debating our skills as opposed to the merit of the guitars which is a totally subjective thing anyway. All I know is that I've played both the hd35 and the 714 and prefer the tone, warmpth, and playability of the Taylor. Now, that being said, if you had something in mind...

yes, that is a preference, I prefer martins more acoustic laid back tone, but I was actually referring to the pickup systems...everyone raves about taylors use of the fishman matrix blender, but I'm saying the the lr baggs i beam sounds way better than the fishman, that was my initial point, I want a 714 eventually myself...it's in my 1-2 year plan...
