I was thinking possibly for the new version about to come out, if there could be an option, to show av's or not show av's. so people at work could disable them if they wanted, so have less of a chance of getting busted for being on a forum while at work. I didnt search so i apologize in advance just thought it might be a decent idea.

This is in the next version of phpBB. If it doesn't come out soon I'll throw this feature into the old codebase.

I know of another place that I post at that is on PhBB or whatever this format is called and they have it in their profiles. That is, turn off/on Av's.

Yeah, it's probably a mod. I can code it up pretty quickly but it causes problems when we need to upgrade.
