DMBfan63 and I played some songs on 12 strings a few days ago. Now I hate to play grey street on my guitar...it just doesn't feel right. Anyone think the same way?

i hear ya man, some songs just dont sound right on a 6 once you play them on a 12

Completely agree. I played one yesterday and i tried grey stree today and i hate it. I think i may never play it again. hehe

I am the same way(since obviously i am dmbfan63..) I'm thinking of getting a 100-200 buck 12 string :-p

yeah, i totally agree. i used to have a seagull twelve string but i got rid of it cause i was only playing "free fallin" and "stairway" with it and then dave starts playing all these songs with one.....dammit!

Yup. I have a Seagull S12+. It's a nice guitar and even nicer for the 200 bucks I paid for it! Oddly enough, I don't play it that often and even play the 6 on Grey Street. They are a bitch to keep in tune, but when they are they sound like a carnival!
