are you guys kidding me.....you can get past this shit easily. im 17 and i get past cops and shit....you guys should just put some beer in the trunk with a blanket over it and go drink who gives a fuck....they wont get you for shit

Unless the owners chose to enforce it. But it does sound like it was a last ditch (forgot about all the years past till just now) effort to avoid problems.
