What chord does he use to bridge the Verse and Chorus??

It goes:

E:----------------------
B:----------------------
D:-6-----7-----4-----6--
G:-4-----4-----2-----6--
A:-x-----x-----x-----4--
E:-7-----5-----5--------

Then there must be a Bridge (There is.. I cant figure out what chord he switches on to the Chorus).. Then goes:

"Hands and Feet.."
E:----------------------------
B:-2--4--5--5------5---4------ <---1on first 5
G:-2--4--6--4------4---4---1-- <---2on6
D:-2--4--7--x------x---x---2-- <---3on7
A:----------2------2---2---2--
E:----------------------------

Now between those 2 riffs there is a small bridge but the rythm and timing of the song throws me off when I listen to it so I can never pick out what he hits between there. Sounds like he finishes one of the chords in the Verse riff (Top) then hits that E Chord then switches into the Chorus.. is this right??

Yea - you have it right.... He plays

then he plays an E chord

then goes into the chorus....

This is correct...he does do an E there....

I thought I put that up my in the comments saying,

The Chorus starts off with an E chord strumming(like the last chord shown above)

Oh well....maybe I should put that the E is a transition....peace

The part that always confused me was, "cold, dark space," until I realized he was just playing the first chord of the verse, just 3 times in a row.

in a few of the d and t shows he plays it really low to put emphasis on the lyrics.
