Your Own Ideal Band

Post by GSR »

I was wonderin if any of you are in some serious bands, or if you aren't, which instruments would you like to have? you'd obviously need guitar bass and drums, but would you guys add more instruments like dmb and bela fleck and the flecktones, or add a lot of unique instruments with a big band or keep it simple with 3 or 4 players?

i'd love a good keyboard player, or a reed person, or both!

here's mine:

acoustic guitarist
electric guitarist
electric and stand up bassist (same person, but switches up)
drummer
percussionist
pianist/synth
strings expert (mandolin/banjo, sitar, bowed instruments)
trumpeteer
saxophonist
trombonist
floutist

this would be sorta crowded, but of course each instrument wouldn't be going full throttle all at once

I dont think I would want a drummer or a bassist.
acoustic guitar/vocals(ME)
a percussionists
and mabey a violin player or mandolin

if i found an upright bassist i would want them, but a regular electric bass player just dosnt mix with what i do.

I'm your synth player!

I don't really know who I'd like to have in a band...it's a bit confusing...thats why it might be better with just me... :?
