Songs - Order of difficulty

So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

I would definatly start with:

Bartender
Crash Into Me
Crush
Don't Dring The Water
Everyday
Grey Street
Lie In Our Graves
Pantala Naga Pampa
Raven
Where Are You Going

Those are probably the easiest of the list. The hardest (for me at least are):

Ants Marching
Best Of What's Around
Grace is Gone
Granny
Jimi Thing
One Sweet World (Verse)
Rhyme and Reason
Spoon
Stand Up
Stay
The Stone
Tripping Billies
Two Step
Typical Situation

grace is gone, typical.....to me those are much easier than some chords in everday, as well as the constant hand stretch in crash. But everyone is different, so it will be tough to come to an agreement on whats what. Were all at different levels.

this is pretty subjective. different for every player depending on their strengths. for me, my fret hand is like 4 years ahead of my strumming hand as far as technique, so anything that is really demanding on the right hand, i have a lot more trouble with.

basically what this kid said but backwards, typical might be the easiest song to play, spoon is probably the best song to start with because it uses all the good chords you need to know. And its a simple pattern. You get that song down you know how to play the guitar

I think everyone would agree that The Stone is possibly the worst song to start learning

I like the idea of having a scale that the songs can be voted on difficulty. so it can be an averaged opinion of many. 1-10 10 being the hardest (maybe the stone) and 1 being proudest monkey.

For us living any other ways was nuts. with all the goodie-goodies working shitty jobs for bum pay checks, took the subway work and worried about their bills were dead. they were suckers, they had no balls. if we wanted something we just took it, and if anybody complained twice they got hit so hard believe me they never complained again

Anyone that thinks Dave isn't good should watch him play "The Stone" and then come talk to me about how so-and-so is "so much better" :)
