Piezo sound processor?

Post by catho »

I'm looking for something to replace my CH1 chorus and GE7 EQ in ways of improving my acoustic guitar sound. Any ideas? I dont need it to be a DI since I have a seperate one for both voice and instrument last in the chain. I just need something that can improve acoustic guitar sounds mainly aimed at piezos.

Fishman Aura could be one alternative, but first of all its 550USD here and its quite big, I really need a small device since Im tight on space. I carry my stuff by foot!

Mmm its one of a kind to do what it does, but you can get better results with a good rig and a fair use of knowledge Ive heard.

The aura is supposed to be like buying a techie that fixes your sound. It adds lost frequencies "automatically" but if one knew how to add them without the aura (like extensive EQ and quadchorus/delay) it would be the same result. Im sure.

Too bad Im not clever enough though, hehe.

Anyone tried the Yamaha AG stomp or the Yamaha Magic Stomp? Or maybe someone have tried the boss AD series?

Not really. The problem is that first I have to pay shipping, thats around 30USD. Then on top of that they add 30% or so in taxes. Total of 430USD, still too expensive. Plus Im pretty screwed on the guarantee if I order it across the world. And its still a little too big

Almost, Sweden. So shipping between UK and Sweden is fine since they are both part of EU (=no taxes)
