Hunger for the great light strumming?

Hey, the strummings really weird in the HFTGL intro, Dave strums in an eightcircle during two chords... Weird?

Anyone care to explain why? Is it only for the difference in sound of strumming up the neck? Then thats really nitpicky of Dave... Heh.
For all my posts, just add "I think" in the beginning and "in my opinion" in the end. Now shut up!

or instead of asking for a pattern, you could listen to it repeatedly, play along and practice, short of someone physically showing you how to play it, thats the best alternative rather than someone posting the u's and d's
