Hey everyone my friends told me about this place... We are starting a band. You might know my friends, elliot, sk8terboy, and LazyStephanie14!!! Just kidding... :twisted:

Actually I'm a long time reader... First time poster.

I'll give a quick bio. Started playing guitar when I was 15. For about 3 months. Picked it back up at 19 and have been playing since except for about a 1-2 year gap. And I'm 25 now. I started playing Dave songs a little over a year ago. It would have been impossible without this site.

I just started getting into recording some of the stuff I wrote. So I will probably hanging out the recording section of the boards.

Lets see.. My gear... I picked up a Martin DM a few months ago and I love the thing. I have a Seagull S6 with a pickup, a Kona cutaway, a Gibson Epiphone PR200 Ebony, and a Fender Strat electric guitar with a Marshall Amp. I would like a Taylor next.

At least when ya see me post you won't be like who the fxck is this guy.

I can play and sing (if you call what I do singing) Dancing Nancies, Say Goodbye, and Lover Lay Down. Right now I almost have Rhyme and Reason, Watchtower, Ants, Satellite, and a few others down.

Well, mattinbeloit I'm not quite sure If I want to share my stuff yet.. :? I need to get a little better and build my confidence up a bit.

Oh yeah I forgot to add I'm going to my first DMB concert on 07-21-05. I had a chance to go in 1998 with front row tickets for free, but didn't like DMB back then. I'm kicking myself for that one.

Haha, it's alright I didn't start to like him until after he got crazy famous and impossible to get to. Before you could catch him in Seattle quite often. Too bad I didn't see the light earlier. :wink:

I've heard some preatty bad stuff on these bords and ppl. are always nice so it does not really matter, get some stuff up and people can give you some pointers on how to improve. This is one of the nicer bords so i would not worry about it.

ah, a newb with experiance, it makes the rest of us look bad
For us living any other ways was nuts. with all the goodie-goodies working shitty jobs for bum pay checks, took the subway work and worried about their bills were dead. they were suckers, they had no balls. if we wanted something we just took it, and if anybody complained twice they got hit so hard believe me they never complained again
