my strings keep breaking

depends on where they're breaking. I had a problem for about 3 months where my martin was breaking my G string at the bridge. My bridge got a notch in it and basically ate the windings off the string about every 2-3 weeks progressively and it would pop. I had my bridge sanded down by my luthier and it hasn't broken a string since. I just changed strings about 2 days ago and the bridge looked like it was in good shape. It depends on how consistent the breaking is. Take this into account. The place of the break on the string, the actual string that breaks everytime. You'll also notice if you use a tuner and tune your guitar everytime you play you'll notice that the string that is about to break won't tune up correctly. It will be jumping all over and losing tune.
