well this stuff all comes with perspective...

from the stand point of dmb fans, a song like Crash or Satellite is most definately overrated, and even more overplayed. however, think about if it wasnt overplayed? they are definately good songs, and youd definately put them up there if you didnt hear them ALL the time. what would you say is probably also in this category.

sure there are exceptions, some people just dont like certain songs that many others do, but whatever...i dont like the stone or the last stop, yet a lot of you guys love them both...just opinions

from the big dmb fans (like most of us) a song like the song that jane likes, pantala naga pampa, captain, raven, grace is gone, dreaming tree - these songs are loved by almost all of us, because we know them, and thus we feel their "awesomeness" or whatever, should be more displayed and publicized, and thus underrated...if they played the song that jane likes on the radio all the time, and never played crash once, it would be the other way around.

Good to see people different opinions. I Personally think WTWE is slight overated and song TSTJL is under. Also recently Over rated big time.

PFWYG and LLD definatley underrated
For us living any other ways was nuts. with all the goodie-goodies working shitty jobs for bum pay checks, took the subway work and worried about their bills were dead. they were suckers, they had no balls. if we wanted something we just took it, and if anybody complained twice they got hit so hard believe me they never complained again

Over-rated: Recently, Last Stop, defunct songs that aren't HHW. Of course, radio hits are over-rated. And I know I 'm gonna get shit for it, but the Lillywhites are, too. Great songs, but better finished.

Under-rated: Captain, Raven, Heathcliff's Haiku Warriors. OSW doesn't get enough love, IMO, nor does #34.

Why does everyone think the Last Stop is overated??? I don't get it. The band doesn't play it a whole lot and its not on the radio...

hey beeches. the last stop is not overrated. i've never heard the damn thing in four shows, and i doubt i'll hear it at my next two. plus, since the last stop is one of the primary examples of songs that go on hiatus from time to time, it is not overrated. in my opinion <- to prevent violence.

jimi thing is overrated. it's univerally been said that it needs a rest.

HHW can't be underrated because it was played like 5 times.

Both Raven and Crazy/Captain (any version, shut up LWS whores) are very underrated. FTT was underrated, but I think that more people have started liking that song despite the fact that it was on *whispers* everyday
