string question

has anyone ever put really light acoustic strings on their electric? what was the result? i was thinking about doing this on my electric because i like the feel of acoustic strings more, and i thought it might help them not go out of tune as much.

I have put electric strings on my acoustic before, and it made it sound really twangy. But putting acoustic on electric might not work. The strings might be too thick for the low action of an electric guitar. You can try it though.
